| Welcome to Hookinman . . . |
|
I'm Orion (yeah--like the constellation; and hey, it's a constellation, not a star--it's a bunch of stars). I'm freakin' nuts about crocheting, so I make stuff. Lotsa stuff. Stuff like you wouldn't believe. This website is here in case you might want some stuff. Email me (hit "Contact Moi" over there) and tell me what kinda stuff you like or want. Real fibres are best--like cotton, wool, alpaca, bamboo, soy, golden retriever, whatever. Acrylics and polyester deplete the world's oil and line the slimy pockets of people in places like Texas and Canada. But I use them anyway 'cause they're cheap and so am I so go figure. Oh, yeah, that's not me on the left. That's Nellie. She's a model. And part-time chihuahua. And bed warmer. |

This is a lampshade. I made it.
That's Buddha sitting under the lampshade;
but you can't see him.
He's funny that way.

|
First baby blanket I ever did.
The baby's survived so far.

This is my friend Kim and her funky scarf and bag ensemble.
Kim has a head,
but she charges extra to look at that part.

This is an egg and toast--well, a facsimile.
Men who crochet don't always exactly have a sense of . . . taste.

This is an afghan.
It's big and warm and I made it.

This is also an Afghan.He's big and warm too.
I didn't make him, but I probably would given the right circumstances.
